Context
Frostify is a Spicetify theme fork adding transparent and frosted-glass styling to the Spotify desktop client.
Problem
Spotify desktop has no native theming, so a theme has to look native rather than bolted on.
Design
Frosted-glass aesthetic using backdrop-filter, transparency layers, and consistent typography across Spotify panels.
Distribution
Published as a GitHub release; 3,350+ release-asset downloads.
Constraints
Spicetify API changes and Spotify client updates can break theme selectors, requiring ongoing maintenance.
Verification
GitHub release-asset download count (3,350+) is verified. Upstream attribution to gwennlbh/Frostify is retained.
